Müller’sches public bath
Filigree ornaments and wall paintings make up the charm of the Art Nouveau building. At 120 years old, the Müller’sche Volksbad is the oldest indoor pool in the city. Here you can take a sauna in the Roman-Irish sweat bath. The body is heated slowly and in several stages in warm and hot air rooms. It gets really hot in the Finnish sauna with colored lights. Cool off in the semi-circular shower, from which cold water sprays from bottom to top. Afterwards you can relax in the open-air courtyard or in quiet cabins. Tuesdays from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Fridays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. is Ladies Day in the sauna.

Hamam Anatolia
The Hamam Anatolia in Obergiesing offers an oriental excursion. The bath welcomes the guests with Turkish tea and Ayran. Afterwards, visitors can look forward to a traditional bathing ceremony with washing, sweating, bathing and relaxing. Bathing is done in the hammam by scooping water from a marble basin with a copper bowl and pouring it over the body. The dimly lit vault with mosaic and ornaments on the walls allows you to immerse yourself in Arabic culture.
If you want, you can book a massage. One of the highlights is the soap foam massage, during which the masseuses cover the guests with a cloud of foam. The rose oil massage with essential oils is also popular. The hammam does not have a customer car park, so it is better to travel by public transport.
