It’s time for the second evening of cross-battles. This Saturday, May 4, episode 12 of “The Voice: the most beautiful voice”, presented by Nikos Aliagas, was broadcast on TF1. Zazie, Vianney, Mika, Bigflo & Oli were not at the end of their troubles for this second stage. In fact, each coach had to create duets of candidates, according to their musical registers, to perform a song, and therefore challenge each other to a duel. A particularly difficult exercise that coaches and their talents fear. And we can say it, the emotion was there throughout the evening.
These final cross-battles of the season were tighter than ever. Each duel was decided by a few votes. 10 votes, 7 votes… and one vote difference! Nikos Aliagas assured him, he has never seen that, in any season. As a reminder, it is the public present in the studio who selects the talents who continue the adventure of “The Voice”. These are therefore 200 people, equipped with boxes, who have the destiny of these candidates in their hands.

“To paraphrase Marianne James: ‘you have shit in your ears!'”
To start this colorful evening, it was Mika who opened the ball. He then chose Gabriel Lobao to face a candidate from Zazie, and the latter opted for Morpho. A face-to-face that tore the hearts of viewers. However, ten votes apart, it was Gabriel who was selected by the public present in the room. During the second cross-battle, Lize had to face Mehwy, who took on one of the greatest: John Lennon. And while both proved their talent, it was the young girl who was chosen to compete in the super cross-battles. And finally, the third duel which was much discussed was the one between Odem and Sahteen who paid a beautiful tribute to Zazie by performing his song, “Je suis un homme”. As Internet users and even Vianney have pointed out, Odem made false notes by covering “The Singer” by Daniel Balavoine. Despite everything, it was he who was selected to continue the competition. Faced with all these decisions, Internet users cried foul. The public’s choices were widely criticized on the Web. For them, the people present in the studio and who voted had “shit in their ears”.
they should really set up a voting application for the public outside the room because the choices are sometimes catastrophic #TheVoice

So that’s a shame. He sang out of tune the whole time. The audience did not listen but watched the performance #Thevoice

#thevoice so the big winner of the Voice is elected thanks to only 200 people!! It’s rigged, it’s not possible that in the end a record company commits to choices made by an unrepresentative panel! We are taken for marbles!! 😡😡😡😡

But how does he win?? 😂
The audience is obviously made up of hearing impaired people. Damn this is serious.#TheVoice— Brice ACHUME (@Panou) May 4, 2024
Seriously #TheVoice, if next year you let your audience vote, you will lose the little audience you have left! In any case, for me it’s over for this season. Good luck for the future 🤣

“The public is so homophobic”
Some subscribers of X, the old Twitter, went even further. Internet users thought that the public present did not like the difference by eliminating Morpho, and Orange the previous week..
The public probably doesn’t like the difference… #TheVoice

Between morpho and Orange who were eliminated even though both had performed better than their competitor we see what kind of person is in the audience of #TheVoice

Fans in the audience?
However, an Internet user wanted to point out that many people who vote are perhaps fans of the coaches. And they perhaps voted more for the coach than for the talent in question… An explanation that can be understood.
People who realize that the public does not always vote for the best of the two must not forget that there must surely be fans of the coaches in the public and that many must surely vote more for the coach than for the candidate lol#thevoice
