Munich: The Monopol cinema shows the documentary “A sky full of bees” – Munich

A few days ago it was World Bee Day, and the Monopol cinema is showing the documentary “A Sky Full of Bees” as part of its “Mittdoks Delicatessen” series.

The Munich director Vanessa Weber von Schmoller reports on the death of bees and the massive impact it has on life on earth. But she also looks for solutions, meets young people who are planting flower meadows on their own, or talks to projects and associations that work to protect species in the cities. With her film, she wants to raise awareness of the problem, says the director, but she also wants to show viewers how they can create a habitat for the insects. After the screening there will be an audience discussion with her and the author Heidi Reutter-Ambros.
