Munich: The luxury bed from the clearance sale – Munich

It’s that time of year when one or the other ray of sunshine falls on the first snowdrops and through the shop windows on winter goods that nobody wants anymore, at least not at these prices. Almost 20 years ago, according to a legally prescribed tradition, it was allowed to reduce what had to go for twelve days. Some called it the winter sale, others price wars – such as the adventurous employees who opened the doors on Monday morning, against whom a horde of money-loving people had been pressing for hours.

Nowadays, the strict price regime has been relaxed, instead: a laissez-faire of comfortable undercutting. The clientele is also more mellow. In social media, for example, it is explained that a cheaper first price can also be hidden under the price tag with bright red “minus 10 percent”. No, we’re not that easy to bait anymore.

But recently, in the middle of Munich, a – yes, you can’t call it anything else – price cracker made the passers-by freeze: a bargain in the luxury class, only 45,500 euros instead of almost 60,000! A quarter less for stability and comfort at the same time, for ideally adapted cornering and easy entry and exit. What more could you want from a bed?

The breath stops for a moment, the buying reflex sets in, the treat-you-what-devil on the left shoulder celebrates prematurely. Because the hello-is-still-angel on the other side whispers: Is it clear to you what the consequences of this purchase will be?

Do you remember the design coffee table? First the couch no longer matched the table, then no longer matched the pictures, the chairs, the selection of magazines. The partner of the heart almost had to be replaced because it didn’t harmonize with the radical design of the side table.

Exchange prenuptial agreement for purchase agreement?

So now a bed, half as high as it is wide and triple the luxury. In order to do justice to this, you would need: satin bed sheets (from 235 euros), down duvet cover (from 470 euros) for the down duvet (from 2595 euros), pillowcase (from 80 euros), the right pillow (385 euros) and with it you the mattress is not soiled with his sweat, also a mattress cover (from 145 euros). If you’re not too hot yet, you can treat yourself to down boots for dream trips (175 euros, not to be worn out of bed). At night, you rest in the bed in a partner look (pyjamas, 280 euros).

Speaking of partners – here too the question arises as to whether they still fit into the design concept, they tend to toss and turn around untidy. After all: In the event of a divorce, the noble bed would probably remain with the buyer. So exchange marriage contract for purchase contract?

We’re not that easy to lure, after all we know the number one savings tip: sleep on it one more night.
