A 37-year-old man is said to have beaten and raped a 19-year-old woman in an apartment in Berg am Laim. As the police announced on Sunday, the perpetrator and victim were in a house on Kreillerstrasse on Thursday morning. The two had only been friends for a few weeks, investigators said. The man is said to have beaten and sexually abused the woman.
The 19-year-old was then able to leave the apartment, but the alleged perpetrator followed her and threatened her with a “sharp object”. Nevertheless, the woman managed to call her father. The 47-year-old immediately alerted the police and came to his daughter’s aid – with a wooden stick. When both men met, the father hit the suspect with his stick and injured him slightly. The father is now being charged with grievous bodily harm. The alleged rapist is already in prison.
