About one and a half square meters of plaster fell from the facade of a five-story residential building on Isartalstrasse onto the sidewalk on Sunday afternoon. As the fire department reports, the plaster at the height of the fifth floor had probably come loose due to “moisture entry” and had fallen into the depths. “Fortunately” no one was injured.
In order to rule out any further danger, the property management alerted the fire department. The emergency services checked the facade in the affected area from the basket of a turntable ladder and removed other loose parts. The duty to ensure traffic safety is now the responsibility of the property management again.
