A cyclist was found unconscious on a grass verge in Neuhausen and died shortly afterwards in hospital. A passer-by found the 56-year-old lying next to a bike path on Wednesday, with the bike still between his legs, according to a statement from the Munich police headquarters on Thursday.
An autopsy will clarify how the man died, a spokesman said. It was initially not known whether it was a medical emergency or an accident. According to initial findings, the police have ruled out foul play.
