At a gas station in Munich’s Neuperlach district on Saturday evening, a group of young men mobbed and beat up a man – according to the police, apparently because he had ordered a non-alcoholic beer. The incident happened on Saturday at 11:15 p.m. at the Areal gas station on Heinrich-Wieland-Strasse. The five men chased their victim as he left the service station, then suddenly punched and kicked him as the 35-year-old fell to the ground. The man suffered a broken nose. A witness called the police. The perpetrators had already gone in the direction of Hechtseestraße. The attackers are said to have been around 18 to 20 years old. One is described as thin, with a mustache and possibly a cap.
