After Mistelbach’s double murder: Long-term youth sentences for daughter and friend

A year ago, Mistelbach’s double murder caused nationwide horror. The Bayreuth district court has now imposed long-term youth sentences on the daughter of the killed couple and her boyfriend.
In the trial of the Mistelbach double murder, the two accused were found guilty. A 19-year-old has been jailed for 13 years and 6 months for the murder of his girlfriend’s parents. The Bayreuth district court sentenced the couple’s eldest daughter to nine years and six months in prison on Monday for two counts of murder. On the night of January 8th, 2022, a 51-year-old doctor and his 47-year-old wife, who was also a doctor, were found stabbed to death in their bedroom. The couple leaves four children.
Mistelbach’s double murder caused a shock nationwide
The case had caused nationwide horror a year ago. The public was excluded from the trial since the indictment was read out.
