On Tuesday there was an accident with a maypole on the filming set of “Der Bergdoktor”. Actress Ronja Forcher reacted.

The recently begun filming of the 18th season of “Der Bergdoktor” in Going am Wilden Kaiser in the Austrian Tyrol was overshadowed by an accident at the location of the shoot. On Tuesday, April 30th, around noon (1:40 p.m.), a maypole fell over on the village square due to a gust of wind, hit a crane and finally hit a boy on the ground who was riding a scooter. The Tyrol State Police Department reported this in a statement.

What happened?

The seven-year-old “suffered serious injuries to his foot and injuries of an unspecified degree to his face,” the police wrote. He was taken to the hospital in Innsbruck by a rescue helicopter.

The maypole also hit an adjacent building and a vehicle and caused “significant” damage. The village square was temporarily closed. Investigations into the accident are still ongoing.
