Update, 11.15 a.m. – Almost 2800 new corona cases in the region

In the last 24 hours in the cities and districts of the region a total of 2795 new corona cases were registered – most of them with 795 in the district of Rosenheim, followed by 777 in the district of Traunstein. The Berchtesgadener Land district reported 420 new cases, and the Mühldorf district 374. There were a total of 246 new infections in the Altötting district. The “tail light” is the city of Rosenheim with 183 new cases.
Also the Utilization in the domestic intensive care units remains high. In the jurisdiction of ILS Rosenheim (City and district of Rosenheim, district of Miesbach) was the value 89.3 percent (Previous day 89.5 percent). in the Control center district Traunstein (Counties of Traunstein, Berchtesgadener Land, Mühldorf and Altötting), the value again exceeded the 80 percent mark: This was in the morning (As of 8:15 a.m) at 83.7 percent (Previous day: 78.3 percent).

the 7-day incidences in the cities and districts of the region have developed differently compared to the previous day. According to the latest RKI data (As of February 19, 5:02 a.m) the incidence in the districts of Traunstein (from 2195.1 to 2284.1), Berchtesgadener Land (from 2085.1 to 2144.3) and Mühldorf (from 2020.9 to 2032.9) has (slightly) increased.
On the other hand, the values fell in the city (from 2251.9 to 2218.9) and district of Rosenheim (from 2094.2 to 2003.7) as well as in the district of Altötting (from 1961.4 to 1905.0). In addition, in the region Two more deaths related to Corona were registered – both in District of Rosenheim. The responsible authorities did not provide any further information on the age, gender and/or place of residence of the victims.
RKI reports almost 190,000 new corona cases
the nationwide seven-day incidence has fallen again (News ticker Friday, February 18th). The Responsible Robert Koch Institute (RKI) gave the value of new infections per 100,000 inhabitants and week on Saturday morning at 1350.4. For comparison: the day before, the value was at 1371.7 located. A week ago, the nationwide incidence was 1474.3 (Previous month: 584.4). The health authorities in Germany reported to the RKI 189,105 new corona infections within one day. This emerges from the latest RKI figures (As of February 19, 5:02 a.m). A week ago there were 209,789 infections.

Among them are many people with a positive corona test who have another main illness. The RKI gave the number of recovered people on Saturday as 9,595,000. The number of people who have or are involved in a proven infection with Sars-CoV-2 died are, rose to 121,202.
