In Belgium and Normandy, fans of Héléna and Pierre gathered around giant screens to follow a “successful” semi-final according to director Michael Goldman. We can only agree: the two students have multiplied the lovely moments of emotion this evening.

Last three-way medley for our Academicians still in the running… With a sequence that has Internet users curious about the friendship between Pierre and Héléna talking a lot. Look :

No other instrument than their voice. Pierre and Héléna take turns on stage for what many have called “the Miss France moment”. It’s Héléna’s turn to perform alone on a song that she also loves, “Skinny Love” by Birdy.

Gims invited himself onto the set for a medley with the three remaining students. “A group already formed and ready for a world tour”, according to him. Her “opera” voice according to Adeline Toniutti once again impressed the singing teacher.

Will Pierre be able to convince viewers to vote for him with his cover, guitar in hand, of “Perfect” by Ed Sheeran, a singer he adores?

It was an unexpected event that marked the electrifying performance of Héléna and Sophie Ellis-Bextor on the hit “Murder On The Dancefloor”. The table on which the dancers were performing… gave way! Fortunately more fear than harm for the troop who escaped without a scratch. “The voice of some people breaks tables, that of Héléna breaks tables”, laughed stage expression teacher Cécile Chaduteau.

Héléna “still believes in it” against Lara Fabian. What if it was her, the second finalist of the class of 2023?

Victorious in the week’s evaluations, Pierre won the right to choose the song he will perform with Héléna. The two best friends from the Château sing “In the stars” by Benson Boone and Philippe Lavrey. Emotion sequence in perspective.

It’s Pierre’s turn to sing with Julien for this new test. They cover “The Walls of Dust” by Francis Cabrel.

No, we are not ready to forget their names. Here is Pierre and Héléna during a semi-final which really looks like a final this evening.

The faculty is unanimous. “Your power is in your fragility and that is the mark of great artists”notes Adeline Toniutti when Pierre de Brauer already grants “his favorite” of the evening to the young Belgian. “You were perfect.”says the theater teacher.

After Loreen, Charlotte Cardin, Jeanne Mas and Hoshi, Héléna continues to collect duets with powerful female artists like infinity stones. She shares the stage with her compatriot Lara Fabian on “I still believe in”. The new coach of “The Voice Kids” encourages the Star Academician throughout the performance. “Well done, well done!”she says to him at the end of the song. “She was extraordinary”she says. “She is an extraordinary artist”insists the one who gave a very gentle masterclass this week.

The good news is that “A Star is Born” is broadcast tomorrow evening on TF1!

They didn’t give us time to enjoy the moment because the duo of Pierre and David Hallyday was so moving.

“What do you want me to tell you?”says Cécile Chaduteau, the stage expression teacher, describing Héléna and Pierre as“incredible”. Even Michael Goldman votes “Pihélénaé this evening” because “when they sing as a duet, it’s even better”.

Like Axel and Julien last week, Héléna and Pierre will sing the same song for a “vocal duel”. They perform “I will forget your name” by Johnny Hallyday. Not easy, especially since David, the captain’s son, is still on the set…
