But then five men storm in and attack a journalist – just as Swedish right-wing radicals and right-wing populists usually try to intimidate people who think differently.
The Moment Teater, a cultural center in the Stockholm suburb of Gubbängen, last Wednesday: The local branches of the Greens and the Left Party had invited people to a discussion about right-wing extremist violence. There should be a talk by members of the journal Expo who has been researching right-wing extremist structures in Sweden for years. Topic: The staging of violence in times of digital attention economy, attacks and harassment that are filmed and processed in the media. The journalist Mathias Wåg was also invited, an expert on the activities of Swedish neo-Nazis for 30 years and an anti-fascist activist in his youth.
