It danced itself out for the first celebrity: Lilly zu Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg didn’t get the fewest points on Friday, but it did get the fewest calls. “Let’s Dance” is over for the princess.
The fight for the title “Dancing Star 2022” has begun: After the prominent participants in the introductory show last week were assigned their professional partners, “let’s dance” on Friday night in the first round of the 15th season.
Instead of the expected 14, only 13 stars were able to demonstrate their dancing skills on the TV floor. Actor Hardy Krueger Jr. was tested positive for Corona before the live show and therefore had to stop. Despite his absence, a dance duo had to leave “Let’s Dance”. And this time it happened to Lilly at Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg – she hadn’t danced the worst at all.

For her Cha Cha Cha with Andrzej Cibis on “Waiting For A Star To Fall” by Boy Meets Girl, she only received eleven points from the judges, but was still better than two of her competitors. Mike Singer had from Motsi Mabuse, Jorge Gonzalez and Joachim Llambi only received ten points in total, Bastian Bielendorfer only eight. But the viewers have the last word – and they chose the two through their calls.

Athlete Mathias Mester caused a surprise on Friday evening. The first short candidate in the history of “Let’s Dance” could work together with a professional dancer Renata Lusin convince all along the line. For her cha cha cha too CalvinHarris & Rag’n’Bone Man’s “Giant” they got the highest rating of the episode with 21 points.
Amira Pocher was also able to dust off this number of points in the introductory show. This time, however, the presenter did not deliver.
