“Let’s Dance” start – Amira Pocher dances to the top – TV

The dance season is open!

On Friday evening, “Let’s Dance” started its 15th season with the big introductory show. Once again, 14 celebrities are fighting for the coveted trophy. But while some were able to shine at the start, not everything went smoothly for others.

And the last candidate, of all people, caused the jury to laugh with their performance.

In the anniversary season, stars such as actor Hardy Krüger jr. (53), singer Michelle (50), CDU politician Caroline Bosbach (32), model Cheyenne Ochsenknecht (21) and moderator Amira Pocher (29). They did not have to fear the announcements by chief juror Joachim Llambi (57) that evening.

The tough professional dancer tested positive for Corona and followed the Schwof on the television at home. He was represented by winner and “Let’s Dance” hottie Rúrik Gislason (33).

Llambi, who reported from the quarantine via video switch, jokingly: “It was also difficult to find someone who would visually replace me.” Moderator Daniel Hartwich (43) countered: “Please don’t train your own mutant. The world doesn’t need a Llambikron.”

The show kicked off with a raunchy secret. GZSZ star Timur Ülker (32), who put a Cha Cha Cha on the floor with circus artist René Casselly (25), danced bottomless. Before the performance, he revealed to RTL: “I had such unfavorable boxer shorts, it just pinched so much.” The actor was able to dance all the more liberated. He received 18 points from the jury.

It went even better for Amira Pocher and presenter Janin Ullmann (40). The ladies brought the hall to a boil with their tango to “Fieber”. Jorge González (54) enthused: “I saw two Bond girls here. Those were such sexy moves.”

21 points for Amira, 22 for Janin. Oliver Pocher’s wife stacked it pretty deep for that. “I noted the choreography and didn’t fall.” She received numerous audience votes for her performance and thus took the lead.

Reward: The “Wild Card”. This means that she and her future dance partner Massimo Sinató (41) cannot be voted out of the upcoming show.

Schlager star Michelle was particularly excited. During training, she said: “It puts a little pressure on me because I’m treated as a favorite.” The singer then messed up on the show and forgot a turn during her quick step. Hartwich quipped, “Michelle, you said you were being traded as a favourite. Who puts you under such pressure?” There were only 15 points.

At the end of the show, the mood was right again. Comedian Bastian Bielendorfer (37) and athlete Mathias Mester (35) presented a salsa to the 70s song “Two Oranges in the Hair”. Bielendorfer in particular moved so awkwardly that the jury could hardly stop laughing.

At the verdict, Rúrik Gislason took the cake when he said with a poker face: “Bastian, you are so sexy! I just take my ten-scoop … and throw it far, far away.” At least he found the performance “super funny”. Motsi Mabuse (40) added amused: “Your heart was there, but your body celebrated its own party.” Unfortunately, Bielendorfer only received a meager 10 points.

Mathias Mester was happy about 16 points. There was another surprise for the short professional athlete. When professional dancer Renata Lusin (34), winner of the “Let’s Dance” professional challenge, was allowed to choose her dance partner for this season, she chose him. A very special moment in the show. Renata: “I want to prove to people that dancing has no norm and no limits.”
