Kirchheim – fire in the schoolyard – district of Munich

Shortly before physical education class, a high jump mat caught fire in the courtyard of the Kirchheim high school on Tuesday. According to the police, the fire was discovered around 1:30 p.m. when several hundred students were still in and around the high school. There was damage of several hundred euros. The police do not rule out a deliberate arson and are now looking for witnesses who have noticed something that could be connected to the fire. In Unterschleißheim, meanwhile, strangers vented their aggression on the facade of the Therese-Giehse-Realschule. According to the police, they threw stones at a window on Wednesday, February 2nd, causing damage of around 5,000 euros.
