Preparations are underway for the coronation of King Charles. In London, the British Air Force warmed up for their planned air show.

As the British government announced, on the occasion of the coronation of King Charles III. (74) the largest ceremonial military operation in 70 years took place on May 6th. A total of over 6,000 soldiers will take part in the celebrations – including a huge air show by the Air Force.

Immediately after the coronation in Westminster Abbey, there is to be a six-minute air parade involving a total of 60 aircraft from the Royal Navy, British Army and Royal Air Force. The royal family will traditionally watch the spectacle from the balcony of Buckingham Palace.

In order for everything to go according to plan, the British Air Force left a report by the “Daily Mail” According to reports, several Eurofighter jets, Apache helicopters and Lancaster bombers took off into the bright blue sky over London yesterday (April 25) for a dress rehearsal.

According to a representative of the Royal Air Force, the noisy test flights were successful. In order not to reveal some of the surprises planned for the air show beforehand, only a few of the planned maneuvers were publicly rehearsed.
