08:15: Woohoo, Julien Marchand is definitely back!
We left the hooker of the French XV Julien Marchand with a (very) bad blow during the triumph against the All Blacks (it was sooo far away, can you remember?). Well, as was envisaged at the time, the Toulouse native is gradually recovering from his torn left thigh. He kindly resumed racing separately during training on Monday and the French staff indicates that he will return to the collective sessions during the week. Excellent news as a very good poster presents itself, on October 6, against Italy at Parc OL de Décines. The lights are therefore green so that Julien Marchand can be there, and thus find rhythm before the crazy battle which looms in the quarterfinals against South Africa.
