A future bestseller? The author of the novel “Harry Potter”, JK Rowling, returns with a children’s novel scheduled for release in more than 20 languages on October 12, French publisher Gallimard announced on Tuesday. The title is only known in English: The Christmas Pig, which can be translated as “the Christmas pig”.
here is the pitch of the book according to Gallimard: “Jack is very attached to his little boy’s cuddly pig, with whom he has always shared everything, both good and bad times. Until this Christmas Eve when the disaster occurs: the pig is lost ”. This novel is aimed at an audience of eight years and over, according to Gallimard Jeunesse.
“Readers will discover a wonderful and hectic Christmas adventure here, and will recognize the extraordinary art of JK Rowling,” said editor Hedwige Pasquet, quoted in the press release.
