Jan Köppen before “Let’s Dance” debut
“I’m really scared”
Jan Köppen will stand in for Daniel Hartwich on “Let’s Dance” on Friday. Before his debut as a moderator, he was “terrified”.
Jan Köppen (39) replaces Daniel Hartwich (43), who is infected with Corona, on Friday evening (March 25) on “Let’s Dance” (from 8:30 p.m. live on RTL and RTL +). The presenter leads through the popular dance show for the first time and gives himself nervous in an interview with the RTL format “Point 12”. before his debut: “I can’t dance. I’m also sorry for everyone involved who expects anything from me. Nothing will come of it.”
Especially with a view to the jury, consisting of Motsi Mabuse (40), Jorge González (54) and Joachim Llambi (57), Köppen was “really panicky”: “I’m a little afraid that I’ll mess it up tonight, but then come back as a candidate next year and then Llambi will give me everything back.”
“will be”
Köppen also reveals that, despite being nervous, he has not prepared much for the live show: “It doesn’t make much sense to rack your brains too much.” But he could “leave behind a little “scorched earth,” he jokes. Victoria Swarovski (28) is confident: “It will be fine.” As usual, the Austrian will be in front of the camera on “Let’s Dance” on Friday evening and will support Köppen in his moderation debut.
