“Pacchia”, as much Italian knowledge must be, is a colloquial, rather coarse word for bash, party, fun. When Giorgia Meloni, the leader of the post-fascists and the likely winner of this Sunday’s Italian general election, appeared in Milan a few days ago, she said to the crowd of her supporters: “The European Union is afraid of us? If we win, the Race over.”
