The news is enough to get lost in conjecture. While he is still officially under contract with PSG until June 2024, Christophe Galtier has seen his name come back insistently on the side of Naples in recent days. In the opposite direction, Julian Nagelsmann is mentioned to him to take over from the Frenchman at PSG. However, RMC indicates this Thursday that no agreement has yet been reached between PSG and Galtier for a breach of contract.
According to the media, the discussions would struggle to move forward since the exchange held between the French technician and his sports adviser Luis Campos last week. Apart from contacting Olivier Martin, Galtier’s lawyer, PSG would not have taken any real steps. Currently, the 47-year-old is enjoying his holidays and wouldn’t rule anything out when it comes to his future. As a reminder, the former LOSC coach earns €610,000 per month and is supposed to receive another 12 monthly payments, i.e. until June 2024. The file should accelerate in the days or weeks to come.
