Fake nude photos of Taylor Swift made the rounds again. Adriana Burova, alias Adiisworld, had early experience with such deepfakes. She fears the worst is yet to come.
Ms. Burova, you make a living from your social media appearances and have a total of almost a million followers across several channels. And discovered years ago that your pictures had been converted into fake porn. How did you find out about it?
I came across it through a friend who is also a content creator. Then I just searched Reddit. And then I actually came across a sub-area that was about me. I was shocked.
What type of content are we talking about here?
First of all, normal pictures of me in which I looked good or my body was visible. But in the comments it quickly became clear what it was about. People fantasized about what I would be like in bed and so on.
It didn’t stop there.
