In the metropolis of Nice, the victories of Eric Ciotti and the RN

In the five constituencies that touch the metropolis, the presidential majority and Christian Estrosi will not have succeeded in their bet. In Nice, the 1st constituency remains with Eric Ciotti and the candidate supported by the LR deputy in the 5th manages to eliminate Marine Brenier. The National Rally is gaining ground by winning the 2nd and 6th constituencies, where LREM and LR deputies were elected.

Eric Ciotti leaves for a fourth term in the 1st constituency

Opposed to the presidential majority candidate Graig Monetti (Horizons) whom he was ahead of by almost 6 points in the first round, LR deputy Eric Ciotti won the party in the 1st constituency, with 56.33% of the vote. He is leaving for a fourth term. “The Macron system has collapsed, including in Nice,” he reacted from his HQ at the port of Nice.

Loïc Dombreval and LREM beaten in the 2nd by RN Lionel Tivoli

In the first round, the outgoing deputy Loïc Dombreval arrived just behind the candidate of the National Rally. A scenario which was confirmed on Sunday evening, and even amplified for the benefit of Lionel Tivoli. With 51.65% of the vote, the representative of Marine Le Pen’s party will be fine in the National Assembly.

Camp Estrosi wins (at least) the 3rd with Philippe Pradal

He was opposed to Enzo Giusti, the only Nupes candidate qualified for the second round, in the department. In the 3rd constituency, the deputy mayor of Nice Philippe Pradal, representative of the presidential majority, won with 57.44% of the vote. He thus succeeds LREM deputy Cédric Roussel, who had finally agreed to leave him his place. And he is above all the only candidate from the Estrosi camp to have been elected.

Christelle d’Intorni wins the 5th constituency from Marine Brenier

Thunderclap in this territory which goes from the coasts of Nice to the borders of the department, in the north. Held since 1998 by Christian Estrosi and taken over by Marine Brenier in 2016, very close to the mayor of Nice, this 5th district is won by the Ciotti camp. Christelle d’Intorni (LR), whom he supported, won (57.54%) ahead of the outgoing, who went from LR to the presidential majority just before the ballot. “The voters made the choice of conviction,” reacted the new elected.

Bryan Masson elected in the 6th, which passes from the bosom of LR to that of the RN

Outgoing MP LR Laurence Trastour-Isnart was eliminated in the first round. In the 6th district of Nice, it was finally Bryan Masson (RN, 25) who won the duel which opposed him, in the second round, to Jean-Bernard Mion, representative of the presidential majority. He won 51.35% of the vote.
