in Nantes, they stole more than 50,000 euros worth of mobile phones

They will be tried this Wednesday afternoon in immediate appearance at the Nantes Criminal Court. Three men suspected of being involved in the hijacking and resale of a package containing about fifty high-end mobile phones were arrested on Monday and Tuesday, reports the Rezé gendarmerie company.

The box, intended for a company in Loroux-Bottereau, was stolen at the end of October by a delivery man working in Saint-Herblain. The package contained a total of 47 smartphones with a total estimated value of over 50,000 euros.

The investigations of the gendarmes led them to monitor transactions on the Internet, in particular classified ad sites. That’s how they were able to trace the three suspects. To date, only 10 of the 47 missing phones have been found, specifies the Rezé gendarmerie company.
