A 57-year-old man drove about two kilometers unconscious in his car in Swabia and then died. As the police reported on Friday, the driver came off the road near Illertissen near an entrance to Autobahn 7. The car drove through several meadows and corn fields before finally crashing into a tree.
A witness came to the driver’s aid, but the 57-year-old was no longer available. The man died a short time later in the hospital. The driver collapsed and passed out at the wheel due to an internal illness.
