‘I was unaware of any improper use of customer funds,’ Sam Bankman-Fried told ABC News.

Sam Bankman-Fried Claimed he didn’t take any risk management time at FTX in another interview following the exchange’s collapse. and denied knowing about the improper use of customer funds.

The co-founder of FTX struggled again in an interview with ABC News’ George Stephanopoulos during a TV interview filmed in the Bahamas. Asked what he would say in court about allegations of misuse of customer funds, SAM replied, “I do not know of any improper use of customer funds.”

When asked about him claiming to be a risk management expert, Bankman-Fried replied, “I didn’t try. for example I haven’t spent the time or effort to manage risks with FTX.”

“I don’t know what to say, like, what happened,” he adds to Bankman-Fried. He made similar comments about the lack of due diligence in risk management during an interview at the New York Times conference yesterday.

However, there are still some inconsistencies in SAM’s responses, such as when he told Andrew Ross Sorkin on Wednesday that he first learned FTX had a problem on November 6th. On November 7th it was stated that “FTX is fine, assets are safe.”
