Hubert Aiwanger did it again. The cowpat appointment in Pähl will go into the top 5 list of his most embarrassing appearances, which means a lot for him. Leaving aside the usual folkloric jokes about the “Hubsi”, the facts are as follows: The deputy prime minister drives to the country with his entourage to reimburse a lawfully imposed fine from his private fund. Apart from the fact that he is thus undermining state authority and, as Economics Minister, once again assuming responsibility for agriculture, he is also stabbing the community of Pähl in the back.
