The former Hollywood action star Steven Seagal (70) seems to really support his good buddy, the warmonger Vladimir Putin (69) in everything!

Now Seagal is on a propaganda tour in eastern Ukraine – visited the site of the alleged massacre of dozens of Ukrainian prisoners in Donbass.

And all to make a propaganda film for Kremlin tyrant Putin to turn!

Photos on social networks show the actor in the Olenivka prisoner of war camp – and how he poses on the spot in the ruins of the prison, where around 50 Ukrainian prisoners of war recently died.

Disgusting: Seagal poses in front of a ruined building, looking at the alleged remains of Himars rockets, which according to Kremlin propaganda were fired at the camp by Ukraine. According to the Kremlin media, Seagal explained: “We are in Olenivka at the exact place where Himar rockets hit.”

Yet: There are now very serious doubts about this obscure story. The fact is that almost everything points to another Russian war crime: that Putin’s troops blew up the prison itself.

During his propaganda tour, Seagal also met with Putin’s henchman Denis Pushilin (41, left photo), the “head” of the self-proclaimed “Donetsk People’s Republic”. The separatist chief confirmed that Seagal wants to make a documentary about the events in Donbass.

The actor also talked to inmates, Puschilin is quoted as saying by the Russian news agency “Tass”. Seagal wants to change people’s attitudes about this war: “Steven says that 98 percent of those who talk about the war have never been here. They don’t know what’s really going on.”

In plain language this means: Instead of documenting the events of the war – for example recording evidence of Russian war crimes – Seagal Putin’s war propaganda spread further.

The actor isn’t above adopting Moscow’s propaganda rhetoric – during his visit he used the term “Nazis” for Ukrainian soldiers and said that Ukrainian rockets had destroyed the prison.

Background: On July 29, the prison near the eastern Ukrainian city of Donetsk, which housed Azov fighters from the Mariupol steelworks, among others, was bombed.

Kremlin propaganda immediately spread the word that Ukraine had deliberately shot at the prisoners of war. The perfidious accusation behind it: The Ukrainians used it to bomb their own soldiers to cover up the “truth”.

Seagal and Putin have been close friends for years

Putin has been friends with Seagal for several years. The actor, director and producer recently described the Russian dictator as a “friend” who he “would like to consider a brother”.

But overall, the actor seems to have a penchant for despots. In May 2021 Seagal visited Venezuela’s dictator Nicolás Maduro and solemnly presented him with a samurai sword.

In Hollywood, Seagal, who is best known for his roles in martial arts films such as “Hard to Kill” (1990) or “Red Alert” (original title: “Under Siege”) from 1992, fell from an action icon to a joke character.

The films of the recently self-declared Buddhist and martial artist flopped more and more at the box office. A blatant descent!

However, Seagal still enjoys cult status in Russia and other countries in Eastern Europe. In 2016, Putin, who is also a martial artist, even granted him Russian citizenship.

Two years later, the Russian Foreign Ministry appointed Seagal special envoy for humanitarian relations with the United States, establishing himself in this capacity as a lobbyist for Russian arms dealers. In May 2021, the actor joined Putin’s Fair Russia party.
