From “Wonder Woman” to “Snow White”: Actress Gal Gadot plays in the planned real film remake of the classic “Snow White”.
“Wonder Woman” star Gal Gadot (36) is looking forward to a villain role in a Disney film adaptation.
“I’m so excited. I would love to reveal more, ”said the actress about her involvement in a planned Snow White remake on the sidelines of the premiere for her new film“ Red Notice ”, as the US trade journal“ Variety ”reported on Friday. According to media reports, Gadot recently won the bid as the evil queen in the new real-life version of the classic fairy tale “Snow White”. Director Marc Webb (“The Amazing Spider-Man”) is scheduled to start filming in 2022.
The Disney Studio had already awarded the leading role of Snow White to the young up-and-coming star Rachel Zegler in June. Zegler (20) can be seen in her first major role in Steven Spielberg’s “West Side Story” remake from December.
Disney has been planning a real-life film adaptation of “Snow White” since 2016 based on the classic fairy tale by the Brothers Grimm about the beautiful Snow White, the wicked queen stepmother and the helpful dwarfs. In 1937 the studio released its first full-length cartoon with “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs”.
