In the film “Saltburn” Keoghan dances naked to the song “Murder on the Dancefloor”. He also moves a lot in his new film. But he doesn’t see any special talent for it in himself.

A dance scene by Barry Keoghan (31) in the film “Saltburn” has achieved cult status among film fans – but the Irish actor is not convinced that he can move particularly well. “I don’t think I can dance,” he said in Cannes. At the film festival, Keoghan can be seen alongside German actor Franz Rogowski in the competition film “Bird” by director Andrea Arnold.

In “Saltburn,” Keoghan’s character dances naked through a mansion to the song “Murder on the Dancefloor.” Sophie Ellis-Bextor’s 2001 song subsequently trended and landed back in the charts.

In “Bird” there is an ironic reference to this at one point. He also dances a few times in this film. “I think the beauty of dancing on screen is the effort of trying,” Keoghan said. “Music plays a big role in everything I do.”
