His former partner Carole Bouquet says she is “afraid” for him

Carole Bouquet flies to the aid of Gérard Depardieu. The former partner of the actor, targeted by several complaints of rape and sexual assault and at the heart of a scandal that has become political-media, said she was “afraid for him” Thursday evening on television.

“I have a real problem with what is happening with Gérard at the moment… I am afraid for him,” declared the actress on the Quotidien show on TMC, defending the man who was his companion for ten years and a beloved actor before falling into opprobrium.

“Let’s stop the delight”

“This media tribunal continues, it’s been going on for months and it’s killing a man. I can not support it. I have no possible tenderness for someone who turns out to be a monster, but that is not the case with Gérard,” she continued. “Gérard is capable of being rude, of having sometimes borderline humor, but he is incapable of hurting a woman,” she assured, recalling having experienced “ten years of sexuality” with him. “Let’s stop the delectation,” she urged again.

Emmanuel Macron, the daughter of actor Julie Depardieu, on television, and before her members of her family, in a forum, spoke publicly to defend Gérard Depardieu, indicted following one of the two complaints to which he is the subject in France and who refutes these accusations.
