The family moved to Vermont for the time being after the accident. “I brought Alec here because we have to mourn Halyna’s death”, explained Hilaria Baldwin to the “New York Post” on the weekend. “A really traumatic event happened to Alec and I’m trying to limit PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder).” You now need time “so that I can take care of him and his mental health,” she revealed. “It’s a terrible thing that happened. Alec feels terrible.”

Hilaria Baldwin: “I love you and I am here”

The couple did not want to reveal any further details. You yourself would have “the same questions as everyone”. Baldwin would have worked with guns on movie sets for over 40 years. “Nothing like this has ever happened before,” said Hilaria Baldwin. “The likelihood of that ever happening should be zero.”

She recently made sure that the 37-year-old does not leave her husband alone in his hardest time with an Instagram post clear. “I love you and I’m here,” she wrote on a photo of her placing her hand on his.

That happened on the “Rust” set

While filming in the US state of New Mexico, a fatal shot was accidentally fired on October 21 when actor Alec Baldwin was rehearsing a weapon handed to him. The 42-year-old Halyna Hutchins and the director Joel Souza (48) were met on the set. The camerawoman died as a result of her injuries. Souza was able to leave the hospital the next day and was last seen wearing an arm sling outside his home in California.

Baldwin is said not to have known that the gun was loaded with live ammunition in his hand. Assistant director Dave Halls handed it to him and said it was a “cold weapon”. Halls later admitted to police that he hadn’t properly checked the gun. The authorities at the location of the movie set in New Mexico are currently investigating the case.
