The most anticipated fashion night of the year has finally arrived: all eyes are on the prestigious Met Gala. In order to impress the gallery, the biggest stars bet everything for everything by sporting audacious looks on the red carpet. The 2023 event is no exception!
Each year, the Metropolitan Museum of Art Gala takes place in New York. The charitable initiative organized for the benefit of the Anna Wintour Costume Center, always proposes a theme to inspire the looks of the guests. The theme of the Met Gala 2023
For the 2023 event, the Met Gala pays tribute to designer Karl Lagerfeld, who died in 2019 at the age of 85. For the occasion, the guests parade under the theme Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty. This is the perfect moment to parade under a more vintage fashion inspiration, in honor of the great couturier.
Vogue is therefore highlighting Karl Lagerfeld’s past as creative director of Chanel in addition to his work at Chloé and its eponymous brand, Lagerfeld.
