“100% of the winners tried their luck,” proclaimed a famous advertisement from La Française des Jeux. The slogan was verified once again this week in Loire-Atlantique but in proportions that are out of the ordinary. In a bar-tabac in the small town of Guéméné-Penfao, halfway between Nantes and Rennes, a EuroMillions player has indeed become a millionaire, tell West France. The lucky one had spent 2.50 euros for his grid and won a million euros thanks to a code
My Million, the complementary game of EuroMillions
exclusive to France.

The lucky winner, who had validated his grid on April 9, made himself known this week to La Française des Jeux but his identity remains a mystery in the town. “The news spread like wildfire. Everyone wanted to know who it is. But now, we do not know. (…) The anonymity of the winner is guaranteed ”, smile Laurence and Thierry, managers of the bar-tabac, interviewed by West France.

This million remains in any case, by far, the biggest jackpot in the history of their business.
