Haar near Munich – crash in front of the vaccination center – district of Munich

Because he lost consciousness while driving, a 52-year-old man from the south of the Munich district rammed several construction fences and signs from the facility near the Haar vaccination center on Friday evening. The man was heading towards the city on Wasserburger Straße around 9.30 p.m. when – according to the police – he wanted to stop on the right-hand side of the road at the junction with Flurstraße due to a “sudden illness”. However, he lost consciousness in the process, apparently hit the gas pedal and instead accelerated his car. The vehicle was severely damaged and was no longer roadworthy as a result of the accident. The person who caused the accident did not suffer any injuries, but was taken to a clinic to have his health checked. There was damage in the lower five-digit range. Due to the large number of visitors to the vaccination center, a speed limit of 50 km/h has recently been in force in this area on the B 304, and even 30 km/h directly in front of the entrance.
