GameFi NFT Market “Lootex” Closes $9 Million Funding Round

Lootex multi-chain NFT exchange closed a seed fund* of $9 million led by Spartan Capital, Infinity Ventures Crypto, LD Capital, and gaming and entertainment company Akatsuki.

This funding will help Taiwan-based Lootex to develop a better NFT trading platform. The platform has 12,000 NFTs listed in 500 collections.

Akatsuki director Yuji Kumagai said at the press conference that “It is very important to open the NFT market for GameFi to allow NFT gamers to gain ownership and independence. We believe that Lootex will support the expansion of the GameFi ecosystem.”

Due to strong opposition to NFT (NFT backlash) in the midst of the gaming community This makes sales difficult for gamers.

Lootex Marketplace allows players to purchase avatars, supplies, and virtual land for NFT games, and Lootex is also a partner with over 50 blockchain games including RPS League, Block Monster, Dungeon Swap and Olympus Royale

Other participants in the investment round include Polygon Studios, Morningstar Ventures and SweeperDAO.
