The choice of the date is symbolic, November 29, international day of solidarity with the Palestinian people. Several “Palestine committees” from French universities brought together dozens of people, Place de la Sorbonne in Paris, during a vigil paying tribute to the Palestinian victims.
They thus responded to the call for mobilization from students at Birzeit University in the West Bank. “I am not against the Jews but for solidarity and humanity” sums up at the microphone of 20 minutes, Michel, student in engineering school. The mobilization took place peacefully and several speeches were made.
