Diethard Urbansky worked as head chef in the luxury restaurant Dallmayr for 18 years. Then the 63-year-old decided to get out of top gastronomy. Now he cooks for a butcher’s shop. About a descent that was an ascent.

The Pförrer farm shop offers fresh and regional cuisine every day. In addition to meat, customers can also buy ready-made meals – prepared by a star chef. Diethard Urbansky has been awarded two Michelin stars in his career. He worked as head chef in the Dallmayr restaurant for 18 years. In 2018, however, the now 63-year-old decided to quit top-class gastronomy. “It was for private reasons, but I also didn’t want the stress anymore,” he says.
