+++ Update live ticker +++

3:55 p.m.: In two and a half hours we start the Miami Saturday of Formula 1. The 3rd free practice session will be followed by qualifying. According to the very old model, no sprint, no frills. Also quite pleasant.

1:37 p.m.: Mercedes’ hopes of an increase in Miami were already extinguished on Friday. Lousy performances, especially in FP2, were “a punch in the stomach” for Lewis Hamilton. The record world champion makes it clear: He no longer has any great expectations in Miami.

10:38 am: Mick Schumacher must have laughed up his sleeve a little yesterday. After Günther Steiner’s crash allegations, which led to his departure from Haas, successor Nico Hülkenberg put Haas in the same position as Mick last year.

8:00 a.m.: Good morning. Qualifying day in Miami. But first, of course, there’s still the 3rd free practice session.

10:08 p.m.: The first training session is now over. Nico Hulkenberg sent a red flag after crashing into the wall. After the break, Mercedes scored twice. Russell and Hamilton set the best times.

7.30 p.m.: In half an hour the engines will roar for the first time. Then the first training begins.

6:48 p.m.: One of the team bosses is now defending itself against the allegations of boredom in Formula 1: Baku was an exception, explained Haas boss Günther Steiner. There were also many races that were exciting.

More news for you:

“He’s made a lot of moves like this and is a tough racer and it’s a bit pathetic to see him open his mouth even though it’s the first time he’s gotten anything back in that regard,” said the Brit.

4:22 p.m.: It was precisely the sprint that brought a bit of fire into the action in Baku. George Russell and Max Verstappen became very close, whereupon the Dutchman eloquently took to his colleague.
