Silvio Berlusconi was admitted overnight from Monday to Tuesday at San Raffaele hospital in Milan in northern Italy, sources within his political party Forza Italia said, confirming press reports. The former Italian head of government is hospitalized again there to treat the after-effects of Covid-19, according to his entourage.
The 84-year-old billionaire had left the same establishment ten days earlier, on May 1, after a stay of more than three weeks, still to treat the after-effects of the coronavirus he contracted in September.

Silvio Berlusconi, who underwent a major open heart operation in 2016, has increased hospital stays in recent months: in March he spent several days in the Milan hospital, officially for scheduled medical checks.
