After the end of the Hollywood double strike, “Stranger Things” fans are wondering when the series will continue. David Harbor creates clarity.

Actor David Harbor (48) has indicated that filming for the final season of “Stranger Things” is imminent. As the industry magazine “Variety” reports, he explained at an event in Los Angeles that production will resume in “a few days.” When asked what he planned to do next after the Hollywood strikes, he replied: “I mean, we have to film the final season of ‘Stranger Things,’ right? I have to be down there in a few days. We have to get going – we’re late.”

The start of filming on the Netflix hit was pushed back due to the double strike by the writers and actors unions. The writers of the series are also taking part in the strike, which is why not a single scene has been filmed yet.

However, the writers recently shared a sneak peek at the script. They published the first lines for season five on the X platform (formerly Twitter). The post sparked discussions among fans. It has already been viewed more than three million times and shared, liked and commented on thousands of times.

Only two Netflix series are more successful

The fifth season tells the end of the story about the youth group from Indiana. David Harbor plays Police Chief Jim Hopper in the hit series. The fourth season of the production with Noah Schnapp (19) and Millie Bobby Brown (19) is currently in second place among the most successful English-language Netflix series. The first season of “Wednesday” tops the list. However, both cannot build on the mega success “Squid Game”. The first season tops the non-English language list with 265.2 million views. “Wednesday brings it to 252.1 million, the fourth season of “Stranger Things” to 140.7 million.
