A man in Lower Franconia fell about ten meters and was fatally injured while balancing on a Main bridge beyond the railing. According to the police on Wednesday, everything points to an accident. There is no evidence of third-party negligence. The 29-year-old was with his girlfriend shortly before midnight on the bridge in Marktheidenfeld (Main-Spessart district). The man probably climbed over the railing to balance on a bridge about 80 centimeters wide. He fell down and landed in the shore area. The 29-year-old from the Main-Spessart district died a little later in a hospital.
