Fatal accident – worker trapped by container – district of Munich

While unloading a container, a 56-year-old truck driver had a fatal accident on Wednesday afternoon in Ottobrunn. When the man from Munich tried to use the lifting mechanism to park the container at a shop at around 3:30 p.m., the ten cubic meter load began to swing on the hook. The man was trapped between the container and the truck. Store employees noticed this and called the emergency services. The truck driver was so badly injured that he had to be flown to a hospital in a helicopter, where, according to the police, he died a little later. The police station 13 determines the cause of the accident. So far, it has been assumed that no one else was responsible for the accident.
