A 70-year-old from the Upper Palatinate is in custody because he wanted to hit his neighbor with his tractor because of an argument. The man wanted to push the 43-year-old against a container with his front loader and hay bales, the police said on Tuesday. The victim was injured in the attack and taken to a hospital. The man has now been able to leave the clinic.
After the incident on Sunday in Parsberg (Neumarkt district), an investigating judge issued an arrest warrant for attempted manslaughter. According to his neighbor, a 39-year-old resident was also the target of the 70-year-old when he climbed into the tractor cab to stop the man.
