Franz Beckenbauer died on January 8th, exactly one hundred days later the well-deserved hagiography appeared on Tuesday: Franz – the magazine by journalist and self-made publisher Oliver Wurm, who, among other things, published the Basic Law as a magazine and a birthday magazine for Diego Maradona. As soon as it was on the kiosk, Maradona was dead, Wurm added a modified, black-flored Maradona souvenir magazine, post mortem. Even the great football heroes may gradually die – print lives. Because what is produced by Wurm’s Hamburger Fußballgold-Verlag is something for lovers of print.
