Faced with the heat wave raging in part of France, Elisabeth Borne has decided to activate an interministerial crisis unit to be held Thursday at 5 p.m., said Matignon.
France could experience its most intense heat episode of the summer in the coming days and one of the latest ever recorded, said Météo-France. Thursday morning, seven departments (Loire, Haute-Loire, Ain, Isère, Rhône, Savoie and Haute-Savoie) were on heatwave orange vigilance.
