It is a special kind of New Year’s Eve: in the last minutes of the old year, the EU Commission sent an explosive draft law to member states and external experts. According to the 60-page proposal, investments in nuclear and gas power plants should be considered sustainable under certain circumstances. Investor money from eco funds could then also flow into such projects.
