Elrond chooses Paris to announce his revolution and his change of name

See Paris and die. This was Elrond’s program this week, arriving at the Palais Brongniart for X Day, the giant event that the blockchain organizes from November 3 to 5. But die, the better to be reborn. Since on the scene of the old Stock Exchange, the founder of Elrond, Beniamin Mincu announced the change of name of his company. Elrond thus becomes MultiversX and like a Facebook renaming itself Meta, it places the Metavers at the center of its development.

Embodiment of this new strategy, XWorld, the virtual world that the company presented at X-Day, will be available en test version next December 10. It will be, according to its creators, an open, persistent universe “allowing hyperrealistic social interactions, as well as economic exchanges”. Other services, all decked out with the brand’s now signature X, have also been announced, in particular xFabric, which will allow content creators to take advantage very simply of web 3 through NFTs.

“France at the forefront”

Renowned for its marketing know-how (sometimes even critical for the place occupied by this aspect in its strategy), Elrond-MultiversX did not choose Paris by chance to make this announcement. It is the capital of a country where a large part of its community lives, grouped in particular around the entrepreneur and influencer Hasheur, present on stage at the Palais Brongriart.

A country which would also like to become “the outpost of the Web3 and metaverse revolutions”, said Jean-Noël Barrot, Minister Delegate in charge of the Digital Transition, who also spoke during the event.

His Romanian counterpart, Sebastian Burduja, was also there in Paris, Romania already collaborating extensively with this blockchain born on its soil. Then it was the turn of Ledger, French champion in the sector, and Binance, which had recently announced that it wanted to make France its gateway to Europe, to participate in the debates, all inclined to prove that Paris had its place in the world. Web3 even though a large part of the European digital ecosystem has been gathered since the beginning of the week in Lisbon for the Web Summit. They will have a whole day yet to finish convincing the recalcitrant, X-Day ending on the night of Saturday to Sunday with a “community party”. Paris is also a party, we shouldn’t forget that.
