It seems like a glimmer of hope. The German economy did not shrink in the first few months of the year as it did in 2023 – but grew slightly. But one should not overestimate this ray of hope. The Federal Republic is stuck in a period of weak growth. The Federal Government and the European Central Bank should act decisively.
